Dear members as you know the club has been in existence for almost 50 years, and in that time we have seen many members come and go. A few years back the committee decided to award members that have served the club well over the years honorary status. After a short discussion the committee has agreed that we should invite a long standing member to join this illustrious group. As it stands we have 2 members that have been awarded honorary status John Turner & Peter Croke, both past captains and both members since the club was founded in 1974,
Today as captain i have the great honour in welcoming another past captain, in fact he has held every committee position over the 30 years he has been a member. Well today he becomes the 3rd honorary member of this great club. I’m sure you will all take time to congratulate Stewart Milne on his honorary status and thank him for his endeavours over the past 30 years.
